About Us

Luke Ross, Managing Director of Saltwater Support Services was born and raised in Alice Springs, Luke is of Indigenous heritage, with strong family ties to the Kaytetye and Gurindji peoples. Luke brings over 15 years of professional experience working across Commonwealth and Territory Government services, particularly in the areas of Youth Justice, Armed Services, and Education. His career highlights include serving as a returned veteran in the Afghanistan conflict as part of MRTF-1 and holding leadership roles within Youth Justice and Detention Centres.
Luke is highly qualified, with a Diploma in Youth Work and certifications in Youth Justice and Correctional Practices. He is a passionate advocate for working with disadvantaged communities, aiming to create systems that promote inclusiveness and foster independence. Luke understands that true change begins by building strong, meaningful relationships with participants and stakeholders, which he believes is key to achieving lasting positive outcomes.


Vasilis Krepapas, a co-founder of Saltwater Support Services born and bred in the Northern Territory, brings over 14 years of dedicated experience in working with complex behaviours and disabilities, particularly in youth and adult populations across various settings including residential care facilities, secure units, and prisons. With a background in youth justice, youth work, family intervention, and community services, Vasilis has honed his expertise through certifications including Certification 4 in Youth Justice, Youth Work & Family Intervention, and Community Services, as well as Certificates 3 & 4 in Disabilities. Beyond his extensive experience and qualifications, he understands the importance of cultivating professional relationships with participants, recognizing that genuine connections are fundamental to achieving positive outcomes."

Mudasar Ahmed, a co-founder of Saltwater Support Services a Local Territorian, brings over 13 years of experience in youth work in the Northern Territory. He works with vulnerable young people to address their social, psychological, and developmental challenges while maintaining their cultural identity. His areas of expertise include crisis intervention and residential care. Mudasar's qualifications, which include a Bachelor of Medical Health Sciences, a Diploma in Community Services, and a Certification IV in Youth Justice, Youth Work, and Family Intervention, have helped him refine his skills. In addition to his wealth of knowledge and credentials, he is aware of the significance of developing a professional rapport with attendees, realising that sincere partnerships are essential to attaining favourable results.
